I love it.
Check out those legs!
And the gorgeous knobs:
It needs a little TLC, but it's nothing that I can't take care of.
And did I mention that it only cost me $50, delivered and all?

Wondering what's going on with those old windows perched on top?
Well, I had originally purchased them for another place in my house with plans to convert them into what I like to call "mirrored windows" but then I saw these (below) at Hobby Lobby last week:
And since they are already "mirrored windows" I decided to use them and save myself some trouble. Plus they were a steal at 50% off. So now I have 4 old windows laying around, and I thought it would be cool to convert them into message/inspiration boards to hang above my new desk. I think I'm still going to add panes, but I'm not 100% sure yet. I change my mind very frequently. Tonight when I called my hubby and told him I'd just bought a desk off of CG and they were delivering it that very minute, he sighed and said he didn't think he'd ever get used to me changing my mind. See, I'll have very good intentions and I'll be all excited about one plan (like the table that's been sitting in our carport for about 3 months now - I was going to refinish it and use it for my desk!) and then suddenly I'll see/think of something else and decide to totally change my plans. Maybe he'll get used to it eventually :)
.............
Here is a little preview of what I have in store for the mirrored windows I got from Hobby Lobby:

Yep, I'm adding mirrors to each side of my fireplace! You see, we only have one window in our living room and I happen to love windows. Plus I have two large spaces on either side of the fireplace that have always bothered me. And then I saw the picture above awhile back and fell in love with the idea of mirrors that looked like windows. I picked up two tonight and we've got the other two ordered - the plan is to put two on each side, one above the other. I'm so excited to see how it turns out!
By the way, don't you just love that last picture above? I think the entire room is just gorgeous!
Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend :)
